Winter Blues
It's zero degrees as I write this post. January 6. The grouse hunting season has been over for nearly a week, but it feels much longer than that. Woodcock? I can't remember what one looks like right now. It's the depth of the winter blues for my pack and I, so all we can do is think back and remember the season that just passed ...
Hope you like our little slideshow from 2024 - a lot of memories came flooding back of coverts, points from a variety of dogs, and of course, shots made and missed. Many thanks to each and every one of my clients that came along for the ride last year. It was a ton of fun and the dogs and I look forward to doing it again in 2025.
In the meantime, we'll get out in the woods the next few months snowshoeing to keep the winter blues at bay, when it isn't zero degrees outside, and think about beautiful autumn days in the grouse woods.
